ISRAEL 71

About the event
Throughout their long history, the yearning to return to the Land of Israel has been the focus of Jewish life. Independence Day is a celebration of the renewal of the Jewish state in the land where the Jewish people began to develop its distinctive religion and culture some 4,000 years ago.

About the festival
The goal was to design a festival identity for the 71 years old, multicultural Israel. Posters, flyer, brochure, offline and online advertisements for the one day festival. The main concept comes from the hebrew and arabic alphabet. I used letters from the word 'Israel' in both languages.

I wanted to give a fresh and modern visual identity which is colorful, fun and happy. A set of vibrant graphic with the shapes of the letters that provide high flexibility of use.
Typography based entirely on Westeinde Caption font by Adam Katyi, Hungarumlaut.
